Frequently asked questions about flag rental
Which flags can I rent?
Ready-made Swiss flags in various sizes, the flags of all 26 cantons and the national flags of many countries – on request with matching flagstaffs and ground bases. The flags come from Switzerland’s largest flag stock in Neudorf LU.
How does flag rental work?
You send us the occasion, the date and the flags you need. You receive a quote with rental period and price. The flags are delivered or collected at our warehouse in Neudorf LU. After the event you return them – we take care of the cleaning.
What does renting flags cost?
The price depends on the number and size of the flags, the rental period and delivery. There is therefore no flat rate but an individual quote on request.
Which occasions are rental flags suitable for?
Short-term and one-off events: temporary exhibitions, promotions, receptions, festivals or sports events with many national flags. For anything flagged only once, renting usually makes more sense than buying.
Do I have to clean the flags before returning them?
No. Fahnag takes care of cleaning the rental flags after they are returned.
Can I also rent flagstaffs or flagpoles?
Matching flagstaffs and ground bases are part of the rental on request. For events, mobile flagpoles (telescopic, Clic-Clac) from the shop are also suitable; flagpole rental is handled by the Switzerland-wide flagpole service (mastservice.ch).
Why rent instead of buy?
Borrow instead of letting flags gather dust: resource-saving, in the spirit of sustainability – and for a one-off event cheaper than buying and storing flags.
