Advertising flags from our own finishing shop

An advertising flag on a pole stands outdoors for years. How long it keeps looking good is decided not by the printing but by the fabric and the finishing. Advertising flags have been part of our work for decades: printed from your artwork, finished in Neudorf and made ready for dispatch.

Which fabric for which purpose

A light fabric moves more beautifully, a heavy one lasts longer. We will tell you which quality is right for your location — even when it is the cheaper one.

What an advertising flag costs

A printed advertising flag in Starflag 160 g/m² or Powerflag costs around CHF 63 per square metre — including standard finishing and printing.

Special finishing, double-layer versions and very small runs are charged separately. You will receive the binding price with our quotation.

Shapes and versions

Hoist flags on a pole are the permanent solution: with a strong header band on the pole side, a rope drawn in and stainless steel snap hooks, delivered ready for use.

Swivel arm flags hang from the swivel arm and stay fully legible even when there is no wind — wherever the message must always be visible.

Rattle flags on a cross arm use every gust and stand out along roads and driveways.

Banner flags hang crosswise and suit façades, passageways and courtyards.

Interchangeable flags for the same pole: one set of hardware, several motifs for season, campaign or anniversary.

Printing

For small runs and multicoloured motifs we print digitally, for larger series by screen printing. Both processes print through, so the motif is visible in mirror image on the reverse. Where the reverse has to read the right way round, we produce a double layer with a blockout interlayer.

We match colours to your specification as closely as possible. A hundred per cent match with a colour guide cannot be achieved in textile printing — we prefer to say so beforehand rather than afterwards.

From the file to the flag

You supply the print data, we check it and submit a proof for approval. Only after your approval does the flag go into production. If you have no artwork yet, we design it — or redraw your coat of arms cleanly.

From your print approval we usually deliver within 10 working days. If it is urgent, tell us — with simple motifs it is often faster.

How long an advertising flag lasts

Longer than most people think — if the location suits. Wear almost always begins at the fly end, where the wind works hardest. Taking the flag in when a storm is forecast and overnight doubles its service life at no extra effort.

And if the corner does fray one day, we re-hem it in our sewing atelier. That costs a fraction of a new flag and is done within a few days.

Flag and pole from a single source

We build the poles as well — from the 6-metre standard pole to the 12-metre aluminium pole with swivel arm, with ground sleeve, tilting device or drilling. On request we erect it with our own lift platform and service it.
